Children of Wyrms

They are born of the blood of the shapechangers.  They carry with them the legacy of Silver, Bronze and Gold. They wear their heritage on their faces, their wings and in their very breath. They are watched by eyes older than civilization.  They are feared, they are honored, and now, they are YOU.

They are the CHILDREN OF WYRMS.

We all know about half-dragons, but what about their children?  Or their grandchildren? How strongly will draconic blood affect a family line? Children of Wyrms is designed to address these questions, giving you the tools you need to create characters descended from the shape-changing dragons: bronze, silver and gold.  Written and developed by fantasy illustrator, Talon Dunning and Shane O'Connor, this 28-page, lavishly illustrated, full-color digital book also includes new rules for creating Draconic Legacy characters for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, including:

  • Four new creature templates representing 24 generations of Draconic Legacy.
  • Four ready-to-use Draconic Legacy NPCs, with fully detailed ability descriptions for instant reference.
  • Draconic Legacy feats, traits and magic items.
  • A random Draconic Legacy appearance table.
  • Detailed information on Draconic Legacy ecology.
  • An artless version for easy printing.

Your download also includes all the files you need for creating draconic legacy characters using HERO LAB!

Update: As of 2021, DriveThru is no longer offering saddle-stapled books via Print-on-Demand. This book was automatically reworked as perfect-bound by the printer and we have not yet seen the results ourselves.  If you order a print copy, please let us know if there are any issues.  Thank you.

Dragons drew me into Dungeons and Dragons and roleplaying in general. Hence, I have had to beg many DM’s and GM’s for the opportunity to roleplay half-dragons, wyrmlings and servants of wyrms. I have also created various options for PCs and NPCs al [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
