The Eldred barely won their war for survival against the Slavern. In the aftermath, The Admiralty devised a plan to defend Eldred territory from all sides. The Intermediate Cruiser was supposed to be a patrol ship, but the Admiralty didn't like its poor performance and the few prototypes there were, got consigned to the scrap heap.

The Starship Series delivers ships you can use in your Starfinder campaigns.

The Eldred Intermediate Cruiser a Tier 4 vessel includes:

  • Full primary stat block with crew skills
  • Top down labeled maps of all three decks
  • Top down unlabeled map of all three decks

  • Predetermined scan results
  • Cover illustration to show your players, without logo or text
  • 7 front and back pawn images for making 2D miniatures
  • Eldred Bridge illustration
  • Starship play sheet

This Galaxy Pirates product is part of a new line, we’d love it if you'd give us some feedback on it.

This is a really nice ship, is there any chance of getting a clean, unlabeled high resolution .png copy of page 2 (the actual deck plans) included in the download so we can use it in Roll20 .vtt?

Thank you. I'm working with the cartographer to finish some of our other ships that don't have deckplans right now. We've talked about creating clean copies for VTTs and he's going to have to rework the originals to look good printed as map tiles or on VTTs. We're also going to align the grid better with hallways and doors. I've played one of the other cruiser maps in Roll20 and there are a few places we need to tweak them for online play. I want to say we should have something in a few weeks, if his schedule doesn't change.

Glad to hear it, though given R20 can add it's own grid it would be preferable for a version without the grid, in addition to the gridded version for people who need/want to print them out for home use.

So this ship has VTT maps now, the grids were part of the image, but they're as close as we can make it to the grid from Roll20. A lot of our newer maps fit better, I've added VTT maps to 6 of our ships (Terran Frigate, Terran Scout, Slavern Destroyer, Armed Shuttle, Katar Gunship and the Intermediate Cruiser) this last week.

The new .vtt maps look, (and work) beautifully, thanks for taking the extra time and effort to update them.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
