CORPS: Diceless Conspiracy Roleplaying

They know who you are.
They know where you live.
They know that you know about them.
And they're coming to get you.

What if all the strange tales you hear are true?
What if there really are UFOs, vampires, mind-reading mutants, secret societies, and government conspiracies? What if the world is not as it seems, but as those who really run things just want it to look like? And what would they do to you if you found out?

We have been visited by aliens for centuries.
Why do they always remain so secretive? Are they doing things they don't want us to know about, or are they afraid of what we would do with their knowledge? Or both? Now that we know about them, we have our own watchers. But why aren't they telling us what's going on?

There have always been those who were different.
Reviled for their appearance or hated for their powers, they learned to hide among humanity in different ways. But regardless of appearance or ability, they are still human, and their powers help them achieve human ambitions, for better or for worse.

Rumors of global manipulation have flourished for centuries.
Cloaked in secrecy and intimidation, these groups have influenced national and global history. Some, like the Spanish Inquisition, utilized groups of powerful radicals to act overtly. Others, like the Illuminati, have remained shrouded in mystery, believed in only by the lunatic fringe; their existence and purpose never conclusively proven.

It is a present just like our own, identical in every detail...except that you know the truth, and they don't like it.

CORPS is a game setting for Active Exploits Diceless Roleplaying and can also be used as a sourcebook for other game systems.

Note: This version is based on BTRC's original CORPS game (first edition). Both previously unpublished material and content from other supplements have been compiled in this edition.

BONUS: This product now also includes a PDF of the Take2 Edition Softcover (out of print).

Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but the Active Exploits Diceless system has worked well in other games, and I don't forsee any problems with this game. The setting is well fleshed-out and consistent (as consistent as a world full of conspiricies [...]

I've been a CORPS fan since the first edition. Although 2nd edition CORPS is much improved, I missed the 'conspiracy' orientation of the original. Well, that's back in this edition by PIG. A wide variety of shadowy organizations and groups that can [...]

Pretty nifty. Nice layout. Of course, diceless itself has drawbacks... I like the general atmosphere and have looted some of it for some adventures. [...]

Good stuff! I have the original CORPS, but had forgotten how cool the conspiracy genre can be until I read this version. [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
