Great content, but table use is hindered by the lack of integrated index. When will ToC be reworked to include it? From what I can see, the PDF does show all heading levels. If you are worried about page count, it could be done in the three-column style as in Monstrosities or The Tome of Horrors Complete.

It is a separate document for legal and licensing reasons, and there are no plans to integrate it into the Bestiary book itself.

Why don't you want to update the table of contents to actually list the creatures in the book? It'd be a massive usability improvement, well worth those 4–6 extra pages. Separate index is a poor solution.

This book is fantastic. The layout is great. It's very complete.
I love how aquatic, prehistoric, and extra-planar creatures have been separated into their owns sections. That will make it easier to plan encounters based on those locations.

Thanks for getting back to me. All sorted in the end. Apologies as one of my sons picked up the delivery card meaning to give it to me and forgot until I mentioned I was missing the package yesterday. I was able to retrieve the delivery, once I had the delivery card, from the local UPS delivery point. The joys of children ;) Very pleased will the quality of the books (I got all 3 core ones)

The current print version does not appear to be the current version. It is one page shorter than the pdf and the reference from deep goliath entry to the underground goliath says error bookmark not defined whereas the current pdf gives the page number. With the cost paid for a print copy, this is very disappointing

Where are the random encounter tables? The GM's toolkit says they are in this book? Kinda hard to run a game without a by name list of monsters or tables to tell what's available to use in the game.

The random encounter tables have been moved to a separate, forthcoming, product. The reference in the GMT will be removed with the next update. Thanks for pointing it out!

The encounter tables have morphed into a combined random wilderness/dungeon generation system with encounter tables. It's still being worked on, but there's no date set yet. But it will come eventually!

The GMT page indicates that the PDF was last updated on December 15, 2015 prior to your first comment in this thread. So, was the encounter table reference ever removed?

Yes and no. Yes, the references in the GMT have been changed to refer to the Random Terrain and Encounter Tables that were published earlier this year. However, a new pdf of the GMT that includes those changes hasn't yet been uploaded. There are some formatting issues that need to be addressed because of some of the changes that have been incorporated (because of changes in pagination, etc.) before new files can be uploaded.
