Fantasy Stock Art

By professional artist, Patrick E. Pullen

MAKE YOUR ADVENTURE LOOK GOOD AND INCREASE SALES BY ADDING THE FLARE OF PROFESSIONAL ARTWORK!

Art Helps Sale literature.

Here are over 100 pieces of art that I have posted which can be used to enhance the look of your products, such as your Drive Thru RPG and RPG Now projects. The art has been compressed into 1 zip file for easy download.

There are color "Covers”, professional ink/pencil sketches, acrylic paintings and digital artwork ready to add to your adventures and projects to make them look more professional! Some of the art is highly detailed and some is purposely ' dumbed ' down to give it an 'old school' look for more variety.

When using my art I ask to be credited in the artist section as Patrick E. Pullen.

You can use the art to enhance the look of your adventure module, print and use them as cool handouts for your players, use them for your blog/vlog or maybe even get adventure ideas from one of them and then use it as your cover. There are 110 pieces of art. Everything from Weapons and items to NPC/PC portraits and even monsters and action scenes. If you have purchased this product, please Rate/Comment or start a Discussion to let me know how I can make my future products better and THANK YOU for your purchase!

By paying the purchase price, you buy the right to use any of the pieces of art in this package for your projects and products as long as the product does not use the art itself for profit.

You may not place any of this art in other stock art.

All artwork rights are retained by the artist (Patrick E. Pullen). All art in this product may be used to enhance your products for sale. This art, however can not be sold in any other art projects or art compilations without written consent from the artist. All artwork is copyrighted by Patrick E. Pullen

I`m developing a fantasy trading card game for mobile devices, so would it be possible to use pictures (color) for cards in the game?

Hi Patrick,

"By paying the purchase price, you buy the right to use any of the pieces of art in this package for your projects posted to The Drive Thru RPG." [...] "may not be used for profit by any other purposes other than use for posting on the Drive Thru RPG"

I assume RPGNow is acceptable too (both are OneBookShelf and share databases and such). Do you intend that the products be available via DriveThruRPG and _only_ DriveThruRPG? Or just that DriveThruRPG must be one of the places the product is available?

If you really do mean DriveThruRPG and only DriveThruRPG, publishers who are not exclusive to DTRPG will not find this product so useful because they'll have to get other art for material sold elsewhere... and if the need other art in order to sell at Paizo, OpenGamingStore, TabletopLibrary, Lulu, or any other venue they might as well use that art entirely instead and not get this product.

As of right now the art can be used on any of the onebookshelf sites and its affiliates. RPGnow, DriveThruRPG, etc. I have changed the text to make it easier to understand. I am currently checking into making the art available to more, I just need to make sure it does not break any license agreements with OBS Thanks, Patrick

It should now read more easily. The art can be used as the product description implicates. Thank you, Patrick

If I read it correctly, it's basically consistent with other stock art: you can use it in your product, as long as you are not reselling the art itself (including in a stock art collection or the like).

Thanks for clarifying. I think it'll help your sales, the previous wording looked restrictive enough to prevent people from using it commercially at all, greatly limiting your potential sales.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
