Dungeon Maps! Fantasy Stock Art

Auf die Wunschliste >
Inside this pack you will find 10 hand-drawn dungeon maps, with four versions of each map (40 maps total! Each map comes in a blank version without any gridlines, a gridline version, a numbered version, and a detailed version complete with secrets and treasures!) A PDF version with one map per page is also included in case you want to print the maps right away.

Also included are over 100 bonus images with transparent backgrounds that you can copy/paste into these maps to further customise them. Things like stairs, barrels, beds, bones, sarcophagi, statues, tables, chairs, crates, coins, chests, traps, secret walls, food, furniture, rocks, rubble, etc.

Each map is at least 1800 x 2700 resolution, in PNG format (6" x 9" at 300 DPI).

PLEASE NOTE: The dungeon maps in this pack are NOT designed for printing at large size for battlemaps! They are designed for printing one map per page, at a scale of 4 squares per inch, or for use as stock art in your own RPG publications.

The images in the description are not showing, and there is no preview. Could you fix this, please? Thank you!

I didn't get a .pdf with any transparent images.

Also, what size do we need to print these out at to get the 1" standard 28mm squares for combat?

Okay, misunderstood directions--thought .zip was for Fantasy Grounds. I have downloaded the .zip and extracted the maps. Still would like to know what size to print for a battle map.

Hi James,

I apologize for any confusion. These dungeon maps are designed primarily for stock art, or for DMs to flesh out with their own details to create new locations for their campaign. They are not designed for printing as battlemaps, but if you really wanted to try: These maps were drawn at 4 squares per inch (standard graph paper), so I think you would need to print at 400% for each square to be 1 inch.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, I can see if there is any way to provide a refund, or if not I can send you some of my other RPG PDF products for free. I don't want you to feel like you didn't get your money's worth! If you're interested in that, please email me at: axebane@gmail.com

Hi.

I wanted to check in and see if you've given any thought to a second set of dungeons or perhaps a version of this pack in color?

Thanks,
John

Hello!

Sorry it is taking so long, but I do indeed have another Dungeon Maps pack in the works. I'm working on a lot of projects currently so I'm not sure when it will be finished but I've drawn three new maps so far. As for color stock art, I do want to do some color stuff eventually but I'm not sure yet what it will be. Thanks, and take care. :)

Any chance for a second edition with all new maps? I love these maps and they fit perfectly into a fast paced fantasy adventure game that I am writing. I plan to make heavy use of these dungeons in this collection. I truly hope you release more volumes of these types of dungeons and labyrinths, etc...

Thank you, and I'm glad you like them! I am planning on releasing more map packs, yes indeed, I've just been focusing on other projects lately. However, your encouraging comment has inspired me to get a new map pack ready as soon as I can. Any particular requests/suggestions for the types of maps you might like to see?

I guess more of the same. I love what you have in the first set. A great mix of man made dungeons, caverns, and combo cavern to dungeon maps.

Two things I'd like to ask for.... 1) Could we get possibly 1 or 2 stairs upwards small detail images? 2) You have four copies of each dungeon. The image I'd like to see perhaps added would be a 5th copy of each fully decorated dungeon like you already have except minus the room numbers. As of now each map I use, I have to go into Photoshop and carefully remove/erase the room numbers from the decorated map images.

Oh one last thing regarding what I'd like to see in the next set. I just realized that all of the maps in the first set have an entrance or cave mouth allowing access to the dungeon. Perhaps set two would not have an entrance but include a small art image for players to place a stairs upwards icon. This way (and this would work out great for you to promote buying both sets) set 1 would be considered first level / entrance level dungeons...See more

Oh this just came to me. Perhaps a dungeon that is a circular design like a Warlocks Stone Tower. The first level would have a double wooden door entrance or similar. the inner most section of the tower would be like a hall with a spiraling staircase and along the outer parts of the hall would be doors to rooms such as a library, laboratory, prison to hold kidnapped citizens or slaves and a master bedroom. Just an idea that came to me as I was looking through your maps in set 1 seeing if there was anything different that I could think of.

Thank you, I'm glad you like them! I went ahead and created a PDF with one map per page so customers will be able to print the maps out right away. Of course all the individual PNG images and maps are still included in the ZIP file as well. Also, a Quick Preview and a Full-Size Preview should now be available before purchase. Thanks again and happy gaming. :)
