Desert Temple Dungeon Tiles Set

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Even buried deep in the ground, the stone is hot to the touch, and the air is stifling and dry...

A comprehensive dungeon layout complete with puzzles and traps.

This is a complete start to finish dungeon you can use for an exciting gaming session! The tiles can also be used in a modular fashion and will link up in a wide variety of ways if you want to make your own layout.

Desert Temple Layout

Includes a detailed 8-page walkthrough of the dungeon, providing explanation of all of the puzzles, traps, and rooms. Also provided is some backstory on the dungeon to help weave it into your campaign, as well as a list of monsters you can use as inspiration in encounters.

Also provided is a token sheet with items players can use in the dungeon, treasure, and even themed doors that you can print and assemble for your dungeon.

This is a system-neutral dungeon setting, ideal for games like Dungeons & Dragons (any edition), Pathfinder, Dungeon World, or another fantasy RPG system of your choice.

My tiles are photographed from real life models which I have personally crafted using my years of terrain building expertise. No graphic renders here - you get high resolution images of actual dungeon tiles I have hand assembled and painted, giving your dungeon that next level of realism, but with the convenience and affordability of a print and play system.

Room Closeup 2

Rooms Include:

Main Room - The centre of this room contains a strange object adorned with a crystal. It's purpose is at first unknown...

Shifting Sands Rooms - The sands in these rooms are slowly recaliming the dungeon, and if you aren't careful they may claim you too.

Nests - The desert regions are well known for Giant Sand Worms, and some have decided to make this dungeon their home.

Mirror Rooms - Grand reflective gold mirrors shine under the sunlight...

Snake Statue Rooms - The giant statue in this room looks a little bit too lifelike.

Pit Traps - These deadly traps are hidden under a false floor. The sharp stone spikes can impale and mangle the bodies of those who are not careful.

Chasm Room - Walk the narrow path over the dark chasm, to reach three rune-inscribed doors - each one adorned with a crystal, and each one locked.

Crystal Rooms - A number of crystals in this area of the dungeon seem to be connected in some way.

The tiles are also compatible in size with my other dungeon tiles if you want to mix and match.

Some tiles in this set span multiple tiles - they have been designed to be printed on normal A4 sized (or US legal/letter sized) paper, and printed on multiple pages. When printed and cut the tiles will align perfectly to form a larger than normal room.

Floor tile size measures approx 25mmx25mm (approx 1 inch x 1 inch).

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Print and play dungeons are convenient, easy to store, and you can print off as many tiles as you like and make your dungeon as big as you like, without paying the premium that comes with plastic cast dungeons.

These gaming tiles can easily be printed to paper or to cardboard. I have designed the tiles specifically for standard A4 printing (will also work fine with similar sizes like 'letter' or 'legal'), so you will have no trouble with using your home printer. The file dimensions are scaled so that even if printing different sized rooms, the scale of the rooms will remain consistent.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
