I appreciate the compliment that you want to own my work in a softcover, but the restrictions for community content is for PDF only. The products is also only 40 pages, so I don't know if that would be the biggest bang for you buck.

This is just AMAZING! well done! I do have a question on one thing. Under the Bard section, they get Experienced in armor at tier 5. But I do not see where they get Practiced in armor in a lower tier. Also do you have any suggestions for how to build a Warlock type character using your setup?

Thank you for the kind words -- and catching the typo! That should be Practiced in Armor.

Since the Warlock has very thematic subclasses -- Familiars, Weapons and More Spells -- I'd design an ability similar to Blessing of the Gods. Perhaps base the class on the Explorer Type.

The beauty of Cypher, though, is the use of Foci would really let you tweak the type of benefits from a Patron. Pact of Chains could be Keeps a Magic Ally, Controls Beasts, or Masters the Swarm depending on type of creature the PC has bargained with.

This is a great Classic Fantasy toolkit for the Cypher System. I changed a few things for my own games, but that's what a toolkit is all about. If you are looking for a supplement to bring over your DnD-esque game into Cypher, get Mortal Fantasy.

Really... why is Elf a Type? These aren't the days of AD&D, it should be a Descriptor and that type renamed to something else...

First, thank you very much for buying this toolkit PDF and I hope you find some great bits to carry on and enjoy in your future Cypher games.

1. Mortal Fantasy is a bridge product to help those who are familiar with all earlier editions of the most famous fantasy RPG to settle into Cypher, including B/X and BECMI (AD&D split heritages and classes.) It's always been a goal that eventually those who keep playing the game can eventually see they don't need those archetypes and embrace the much more flexible concepts you can create in Cypher.

2. The Type already has an alternate name in parentheses, "(Wizard Fighter)," for those who want to use it as the "multiclass" character combo. Again, extending out the bridge for new Cypher players.

3. Elf is already a Descriptor in both of the Cypher System Rulebooks in the Fantasy genre section.

The most current, based on the original CSR, is MortalFantasy12.pdf. But you heard it first, we are putting together a second file that will be based on the revised Cypher book that just came out!
