On February 5, 2439, the Mackie obliterated all opposition during its first combat trial, ushering in a new era of warfare. The BattleMech—King of the Battlefield—was born. Is this compatible with A Time of War?

There was an update yesterday. We are now provided with two very slightly differently named files, one half a MB larger than the last version, one 40 MB smaller. The smaller one appears to be more current, since the copyright page says 2019 on the smaller one and 2017 on the larger one. Otherwise, absolutely no indication what if anything is different about the content.

The newer one says "Corrected Third Printing" on the credits page, making it much easier to see which is which. The glaring issue of no header or TOC entry for the Icarus II was fixed, along with the usual typo/correction pass.

Maybe I read the description wrong but it appears that this contains mechs from those 4 books mentioned above, it does not contain ALL the mechs from those books. I don't think a single clan mech is included.

As someone just getting back into Battletech, I am not to unhappy but it would be nice if the description specified exactly which mechs were included so people would know.

It's a Sucession Wars book. Nobody had any idea that clans exist except the Wolf Dragoons and they kept it to themselves. Some 'mechs technically had to be clan-made, because they went ectinct in the IS, but the Dragoons had them equipped with tech fitting current IS levels.
