I just started a Patron with you, and I'm getting this book on RPGNow. My question is, where can I get the previous 2 books?

Thanks for your support on patreon. This help me a lot. The issues #1, #2 and #5 are currently in translation. They are being done by different translators, so some of them getting done before others.

Nice to hear. Thank you for the quick update. I noticed that 'Martial Arts' has some very rough editing flaws. Do you have someone with English as a first language looking over it?

For Example Page 6:
"The system works as a toolbox which allows hin to merge and separate ideas, with the intent to simulate the adventures he desire."

I'm pretty sure should be:
"The system works as a toolbox which allows him to merge and separate ideas, with the intent to simulate the adventures he desires."

Thank you so much for your feedback. Just this week I got a professional proofreading and he will read and fix all editions already published (#3 and #4) and the ones currently being translated (#1, #2 and #5). If you find anything that needs fixing or that you think should be different, please feel free to comment and let me know.

I like the publication. I'm glad you are open to constructive criticism.

I think it is through the comment and suggestion of the people who read the product that it can improve and evolve more and more. I have already applied the correction you suggested and I am happy to know that Issue #3 has taken one more step in becoming a good Fate supplement. I'll update the file soon.

I went on the Patreon, and was a little sad that you did not have many Patrons yet. I can't afford another monthly donation, but I decided to at least give you the equivalent of a month in order in exchange for the issue. Keep up the good work and I'll keep an eye on your Patreon if I get a little more spending money.

Thank you for your comment. My Patreon really has few people, but positive comments (like yours) and constructive criticism are also a way of contributing and inspiring me to continue producing. I'm really happy to know that there are people who like my ideas and who use them in their Fate game or who use them as inspiration to create their own ideas.

I am very grateful for your help (any value it's really helps a lot, here on DriveThruRPG or on my patron) and once again thank you for your comment and for the positive words. I will do my best to continue to producing useful content. Keep an eye on my Patreon, even if you does not become a Patron, because I'm posting tips and news for GMs and PCs every Monday in the "post" tab. And all editions will be released in PWYW format. I'll be waiting for you in the next issues.

I am pleasantly surprised that you mentioned Keysi. I was the only certified instructor in California before their company split in 2012.

It was known as KFM (Keysi Fighting Method) back then.

During the playtest, I called some friends who are experts in martial arts (one of them trained Keysi). They guided me about the arts and how they work, so that I could create something that was not so detailed (and complicated) but based on real martial arts. I am happy to know that you are a professional in martial arts and you have downloaded this issue. I hope you enjoy.

I met a few Italians while training KFM in Spain. I especially remember Ivor F. from Treviso. Your work is quite good and I appreciate the theoretical narrative model that you give. Representing martial arts in RPGs is especially tough because, at the end of the day, they break down to numbers (hit/damage). The narrative component, what I am looking for, is meant to drive the story forward. I am building out a homebrew of Steve Perry's Matador Universe and need to have clear rules about martial arts.

I played complex and simple RPGs and I felt that Fate is good at creating malleable narrative rules. I think that Fate helped a lot. But even in Fate, some may focus more on stress and shift (that is, on rules) than on narrative elements. I've tried to find a middle ground and hope it works well for most groups. Or that my ideas will inspire GMs and PCs to create their own ideas.

Many thanks for your comment. You inspired me to do my best and continue to produce content. Keep an eye on my Patreon, even if it does not become a Patron, because I'm posting tips and news for the GMs and PCs every Monday. And all editions will be released in PWYW format. I'll be waiting for you in the next issues.

I made a typo. I meant "...even if you does not become a Patron." Sorry for this.

So, I'll posting tips and news for GMs and PCs every Monday in the "post" tab, on my patreon. So visit there whenever you can.

Thank you David! I'm glad you liked it. I worry a lot about the quality of the content and the text. I think it's important to value artists and I think it's worth investing in illustrations.

Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
