Goober's Encounters: Volume 1

Goober's Encounters: Volume 1 is a collection of 5 custom encounters for fantasy adventure games. 

Each encounter in this product contains a description of what prompted the encounter, the setting in which the encounter takes place, and any monsters and treasure that comprise the encounter. Each also lists a recommended PC level to take on the encounter (based on an expected party size of 4), and a recommended number of XP to award for the completion of the encounter.

Each encounter also contains details identified as entirely optional, as well as a number of ideas for expanding the story past the encounter. Using these optional details, you could turn each encounter into the beginning of an extended adventure.

The encounters contained within this product are intended to make your life easier as a GM. They can be used as random encounters within an adventure or to create entirely new story arcs. The details are, of course, not set in stone. Feel free to adjust or completely change any details contained within to fit the specifics of your game.

This product contains:

• 5 entirely new encounters, each of which contains at least 3 hooks for adventures that could result from the encounter.
• 1 entirely new monster, 5 customized monsters, and 2 monsters from System Reference Document 5.1.
• 3 entirely new magical items, and 2 magical items from System Reference Document 5.1.
