The Labyrinth of the Lost!

Just like most of our other modules, this adventure features multiple hooks to draw your PCs into the story. There is travel across the different ecosystems of this interesting demi-plane. One might meet friends or foes anywhere in the adventure. There is political intrigue and real personalities clashing to add spice to the detailed locations. People live and die here, your PCs are just the ones who might be able to help rid the land of evil!

The world of Hanan Pacha faces a mortal threat: evil wizards are trying to open the Black Door to the undead realms. With this gate open, the titan, Erebus, awakens from his ages-long slumber. He is angry because undead are being summoned by this foul gate. Mortals only have a limited time to deal with this threat before Erebus calls forth the other titans, who will wreak havoc on the mortals for their insolence! Characters of Levels 8 to 12, who have magic and magical weapons are best suited for this advenutre. A second file provided for your convenience has all of the dungeon maps.

This adventure fits well in any campaign world that has magic and magical weapons available. The text block style (of monster stats) is easily convertible to other versions and systems. This is the 4th in a series of adventures in the world of Hanan Pacha. The others are; The Spire of the Raven God, The Lair of the Demon Princess and The Dead of Winter/Wokrah's Dungeon; Wrymslayer and The Inn of Limbus!

A sacred spire in the Kingdom of Elleron is taken by the demon lord, Varnaku, and his minions. So begins the quest in Hanan Pacha to rid the demi-plane of the evil ones who seek to make it part of their domain! The Spire of the Raven God; The Lair of the Demon Princess, The Dead of Winter and the Labyrinth of the Lost, Beyond the Black Door and Wyrmslayer are adventures that take your PCs throughout the regions of the central lands of the Inland Sea. There are plenty of conflicts, political intrigue, memorable NPCs and mysteries to solve as the heros seek the ultimate threat to the Land of Hanan Pacha!

Opening with atmospheric 'ancient texts' that warn of the dangers of the Black Door and the labyrinth to which it is the entrance, the Introduction then explains how the three preceeding adventures - The Lair of the Demon Princess, Into the Gates of He [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
