The class feels like a "multi-class class" where the author wanted several different things from different classes but didn't want to multi-class. Things such as;
Stimulating Procedure - Bardic Inspiration - Bard
Weak Point - Sneak Attack - Rogue
Medical Techniques - Eldritch Invocations - Warlock
Surgical Strikes - Champion - Fighter
Strength of Will/One With Sickness - Arcane Recovery - Wizard
And after they were done making their ultimate multi-class character, they remembered they were supposed to be a plague doctor and added in some vestigal flavor elements to try and reel it back in.
The main problem with the class, is that it comes across as a patchwork of other classes, and lacks real flavor of it's own. The medical tools are largely useless outside of the plagues subclass, because their coroborating techniques are almost useless, Daily Dosage, if not detrimental, Targeted Injection (as it uses resources to deal the same amount of damage you'd get with a rapier), to actually use. In addition, Psychology and Plagues more or less have the same level three ability, with Psychology feeling like it got the short end of the stick when it came to thought put into it as it just comes across as a far worse wizard. Plagues on the other hand, has actual flavor to it, but it's so thinly spread that it hardly feels any different than the other choices because of how bland the concotions are.
I took interest in the class and figured I'd give it a look, but it needs a good bit of work to make it feel like it's own class. It has a decent foundation, but it could use a lot of work in the class feel department.
