The applications for this product are too numerous to list. If you have kids that like animals, if you like animals, want to add detail to a scene, etc. A very good set.

A handy little app that I put on my desktop. I find the xDx portion very useful...especially when rolling up a character.

Fantastic product. Loads of creature/class combinations to fill out the ranks on the tabletop. But what I like best about it is how these guys provided several different printing options for several different playstyles. Each illustration comes in one of three different formats - flat counter, A Frames, and Trifolds. I am not a fan of the flat counter and so I was really excited to see that I could print these guys out in a self-standable format. But I know other people prefer the flat counter, so hey we're both satisfied!
Not only that, but the illustrations come either one of each on a page or several of the same on a page. So if you want to print 20 Dwarf Fighters, you only have to print out the Dwarf Fighter page (and each one is number to make for easy HP tracking!). Or you can print out the one page that has one of each in order to quickly assemble a motley crew of Dwarfs, Elves, Humans, etc.
Excellent product, and I will purchase more from these guys.

I needed a program to roll dice for my online rpg, this product did the trick, the sound is anoying, but easy to turn off.

Black and white art in the old school style I prefer, far away from anime and dungeonpunk style that nowadays seem to be norm among the prominent rpg publishers. What a relief! So the art in this pack is exactly what I needed, the style I wanted, a lot of pics for a very reasonable price. I am extremely satisfied with this product.
If the publisher produce new sets (and I am informed about it), of that quality and low price, I am likely to buy them too.

Fascinating book, wish it would come out in print form. Even if you don't run any games with it, you'll probably find some interesting ideas for other horror games inside. Nice layout and design, as well, and although I have never had an opportunity to run Unbidden, the system seems solid enough. Excellent addition to your horror game collection!

Thanks for leaving feedback. You can get it printed on-demand via the Precis Intermedia web site. If you contact us about it first, you'll only need to pay for printing (currently $7.50) and shipping, rather than the full price since you already paid for the PDF. |

I purchased it almost only for the setting. And it was worth the bucks. After the great nuclear war the Earth has changed and there are saved humans, mutants, evolved animals, robots and many weird technical things for the player to get. You can play an mixed group or an specific group which leads to different adventures.
The rules are not my favored example for leading a game, but managable.

Great product with plenty of potential for some fun gaming. If you are looking for a diceless game that is easy to learn and useful for both tabletop and LARP games, this is the book to get. It offers up some great elements of play and the price can't be beat.

This is a very useful product-I don't use the setting, but if you want a detailed description of the major combative tribes of the old West, plus detailed timelines of the Indian-related eventsa and Indian Wars, this is for you.
My only complaint, but it is a large one, is that the product is locked, so its either print as is or not at all. I would have liked to have copied excerpts from the descriptions and given them as handouts (newspaper articles) to PCs, but this is impossible.

Nice set of rules that reminds me of what I liked in Starfire. The rules are clearly written with examples and play fast. The available weapons list is a bit too few for a first release, but I hope another supplement will remedy this. It's easy to create your own weapons, but that will need playtesting for balance. For the price, there's no reason to not buy this product.

A good niche product. I'm starting to get into some games with these settings and I look forward to putting this to good use, even if it's just to give ideas for flavor. Time will tell. If nothing else, the price is right for some extra background.

Overall, not a bad product -- but not what I was expecting, either. The original (print edition) of Dacartha Prime contained the complete second rendition of the Story Engine rules and, as such, stood as a self-contained game. The Precis Intermedia edition of Dacartha Prime retains all of the original product's text except for the game rules, making it a useful supplement for those who already own the Maelstrom core rules or Story Engine but an utterly useless purchase for anybody who wants or expects a faithful reproduction of the original product (either for preservation purposes, or for actual play). I wish that the ad copy for the PDF version had been clearer in this regard.
