This setting is classic and easily worth five stars, POD quality is no match for actual print book but is okay for the price.

While I don't feel you can run an entire campaign using this book alone as a source without adlibbing a ton, its a huge boon to have at your side.

My main complaints are the inconsistent translations of location and character names between this book and others, as well as some years of the GPC being absolutely barebones.

The layout and artwork is fantastic, and I've had a lot of fun playing the first two eras of the campaign.

This is undoubtedly one of the most impressive pieces of work in TTRPG. This was a amassive endeavor that scripts out a setting that works wonderfully with the mechanics of KAP. The book covers the reign of Uther and Arthur Pendragon on a year by year basis while providing events, adventures, and news. The book runs smoothly and having played through to the coronation of Arthur once and now on another play through, hopefully going to finish the whole thing, but we're only on 504 after 4 months, I can confirm that it was definitely worth the price. If you're questioning whether to buy the hardcopy or the PDF, I would recommend the hardcopy. I keep it open underneath a mound of papers for every session so that I can reference they year's events. While being undoubtedly a 5 star product for shear scope of content alone, there are some improvements I'd like to see. The maps and name references, of which there are many, do not line up with the names in the Book of Warlords or later supplements. This is confusing for the players and me, and honestly, I prefer the GPC names. The other big one is that I would like to see another Appendix with all of the Knights of the Round Table that are named with their birth date, induction to the Table Round, and their death date. This would be tremendously helpful. And while we're on it, it would be nice to see Gareth included in the yearly events. His absence is pretty jarring to those of us who've read anything of Arthurian literature and it would make his death at Lancelot's hands more meaningful.

Im sure the content of the book is good but the quality of the print is bad. The paper is thin and feels cheap. The pictures look faded and looks like its printed with a old home printer running out of ink. The paper is so thin you can almost read the text on the other side through the pages.

One of the best campaign books of all time, regardless of system. It will give you years of use and joy, and while strictly not required, it is essential for the core Pendragon experience! Buy!

To put it simply, this may be the single greatest RPG campaign I've ever read. I'm using this for a solo game for my spouse, and it's just wonderful.

Perhaps the most ambitious and amazing adventure I have ever read. A must buy for anyone who is interested in GMing Pendragon.

A fantastically detailed and rich sourcebook for the Pendragon RPG: possibly the only sourcebook you'll ever need.

The campaign is served up year by year, with detailed rundowns of what happened during that year, what people were gossiping about, changes to technology, adventure hooks, and so forth. Even if you are not a player of Pendragon - gasp! - the GPC is a pretty good reference text to what happened in the Arthur myths. Full stats for the major NPCs are also downloadable from the publishers website.

Th production values are quite good too, with a consistent look and feel and - most importantly - tone throughout the text. The PDF is of excellent quality, with a full set of bookmarks.

This is one of the great roleplaying supplements of all time. Well written, to the point and very inspiring. This book is amust for any Pendragon GM.

A wonder to behold. There is so much in this book to recomend. Even if you never play it but do plan on running a fantasy campaign of any consequence this is a must read. This coudl indeed take an RPG group years to complete and they would be glorious years indeed.
