I picked up this book because it was on sale, and for the price I paid, it really couldn't have gone wrong. The book is interesting, and especially useful if your campaign features drow prominently. Some of the ideas can be easily ported to other races/cultures, so as an idea box, it is also useful. The main draw of this book is for those GMs whose players don't fear the drow anymore; a few of the alternative nasties found in these pages should make them reconsider. If you run a campaign set in the Forgotten Realms and your PCs are a bunch of Drizzt worshippers, then this book will definitely help you out, especially if you buy it on sale.

Yes. Excellent drow book finally. Great pretige classes and feats, though I would have liked to hear more about the prostetics.

I was a bit disappointed with the information presented in this product. A "complete" guide, in my opinion, would cover more than the roughly 15 pages of actual drow detail that is given. From the 56 page book, there are a dozen pages of prestige classes and 15 pages of magic and spells, which is all fine, but they just don't give me the information on the race that I was hoping to find here.

But, if you are looking for some basic drow background, some new prestige classes, feats, and magic, I'm sure you'll enjoy what is to be had from this book.

I like this product because it gave me a lot of 'food for thought', I run a sporadic DnD campaign that doesn't allow Players to take exotic races until they have actually been encountered as friends, foes or neutral. I know that most of my Players have access to the standard AD&D and DnD info on the Drow but they don't have access to this book so far. For me this means that encounters with Drow can include Prestige Classes and magics etc. that they have no knowledge of, so rather than worshipping Drizzt and all his little Drow friends, the Players might actually start to fear them again.
