I love the concept of the cards! I watched the YouTube video first. I run a high school level group. Tonight each person was dealt 3 cards. Played the cards at the beginning of the round. It was hilarious. Only criticism is there were a couple of cards with no close rpg equivalent. The kids struggled with that. It was great fun using them. Good filler. I would buy another set. A volume 2.

Just printed these out on heavy card stock! Came our sweet! I cannot wait to use these with my group!

This is a nice little set and the YouTube video to go with it certainly explains a very nice old-school "theatre of the mind" way of gaming without a battlemat (watch it if you haven't yet). There is perhaps a touch too much repetition in one or two areas, but in general this is a terrific set! My only other "criticism" might be to make an option for adding cut-lines. I am terrible with a hobby knife, so I use a scrapbooking photo-trimmer, and these would get to my table quicker if the lines were there. But neither of these small quibbles is enough for me to even dock a star on my rating as this is just such a good idea for a product! I even made a simple 3x5 template in Word and made some new cards of my own to augment the set. The art is charming (and pretty printer-ink economical being just bold line drawings as opposed to full-color pictures), there is a lot of variety and there are so many ways a GM can use these cards! These are certainly going to be added to my bag of tricks!

Printed at staples on light cardstock for five bucks. Extremely useful for generating ideas on the fly and useful during the D&D session to augment theater of the mind! Great purchase.

I had my cards printed at Staples for less than $6.00. The art is attractive, striking and clean. The variety of intriguing images is a fun tool for smashing the creative block. I have enjoyed rolling 5d100 and plotting adventures from the results. (As I cut them out, I numbered the back of my cards using the included description list.) I'm looking forward to future volumes.

Imma use this to creat a random session, improvised on the fly, let the cards decide. It's going to be either epic level awesome, or a total disaster....doesn't matter it will be fun as hell. Top notch illustrations.

This is a simple and unique idea perfectly executed. I plan to use these cards as sources of inspiration from which to build entire adventures. If you print and trim a set of these, toss them in a small box with a single set of dice and a pencil, you have everything you need for an improv RPG experience. I wholeheartedly give this product 5 out of 5 cardstock morning stars.

Do you stink at drawing and need to arrange graphic elements to get it mapped out in your brain? Get this! It is relatively cheap for what you get and has a ton of replayability.

It is stylized creative monsters, props, dungeon elements, and some other goodies that you can print out. Well worth the price to have these elements in front of you when DMing. A picture is so much better than a wall of text.

I was asking for something like this since I saw Hank introduce his own personal ones in his videos. Glad he made this for all of us!

Hankrin Ferinale from Drunkens & Dragons is pretty awesome in my opinion. I recently just re-started playing Dungeons & Dragons since putting it behind in the early 90's and he's made it fun to get back into. I really appreciate all his sweet ideas and very fluid thinking; from 2d, 2.6d, 3d and so on. Most of all that he shares them with the D&D community to help folks like me new to the scene. I am looking forward to Volume 2 to add to my collection and all future volumes Runehammer Games publishes. The Index RPG concept is very easy to digest and demonstrate; especially to a new DM wanting their players to have fun, and especially not worry about the minutiae which is usually distracting to new players and new DMs. Fantastic work Hankrin Ferinale - Strength, Honor & Beer!

100 unique images to print on to card stock. Easy to use as a game prop with or without miniatures! Some can work as rooms, some can work as images to help with environment.

Shuffle them up, deal yourself a few. Write an adventure! Great to use for inspiration as well!
