This is a scan of the book, and not even a very good one. The text is a bit hard to read, and some of the pages look slight eschewed. Still, it's about the only game in town in you're looking to run Engel. If you can, get a used copy instead. Otherwise, its serviceable.

A meticulously detailed setting with a strongly Christian, post-apocalyptic flavor. It's a setting I've always wanted to play (and wish I'd taken the time to develop) and I was very excited to find this beautifully illustrated book.

However, as others have mentioned, the book suffers from a lack of detail on the Dreamseed antagonists that are the heart of the game. This isn't overwhelmingly bad, as (per usual with the d20 settings) characters start off fairly impotent, and the detailed setting practically demands a slow introduction to the world - perhaps a few preliminary adventures dealing with heretics or Himmel politics or one of the various human cults.

What I DON'T like about this product is its d20 system. This is purely subjective, of course, and if you like the d20 rules, I heartily recommend this book to you. For those like me, however, the setting is rich enough to warrant translation into whatever system you prefer.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
I haven't bought the PDF (have a physical coppy) but I have got to say, one of my favorite RPG's of all time. Plenty of atmosphere, intrigue and danger, it was a shame that the game didn't take off.

I think that U$14.98 is too much money for a book scan; one waits a good e-book when it’s paying good money for it.

The game is a complete different mater.
