Custom system, but well organized. I haven't played it, but giving 5 stars because it's complete with rules, setting, maps, tools to quickly construct scenarios, put together NPCs and good tips for new GMs. Definitely leans towards creative role-playing and story telling and not for crunchy combat. Good for groups that want to have an adventure, rather than groups who want to compare how many hitpoints their weapon can dish out per round. (You can probably sense my own bias here)

I admit that at this point I haven't read all the way through the game book. But there is one thing which is clear from the first pages. This is most certainly not a d20 system, despite the product description. The skim through I gave the setting information looks interesting, but if you're looking for a d20 take on a western fantasy setting, steer well clear. The listing of this product as d20/OGL 3rd Edition is outright false.

Hello Paul, sorry for the confusion, you are correct, this product is not a D20 game, nor does it pretend to be one. It would seem that when we set the product’s page we checked the D20 box by error. That misprint has been taken care of. Maybe after you have read the game’s rules, you will find it’s worth more then a single star review.
