This sourcebook is well laid out - the table of contents is comprehensive, and the pages are littered with notes that help the player understand concepts. The style is evocative of the books, and it does come across as if it has been written by the characters in the series.
One issue I found was that the structure of magic in the system does not lend itself well to balancing against evocators. My group had consistent issues with trying to keep other magic users from being eclipsed by our 'Dresden'. This took the form of refresh costs for sponsored magic being too high for the resulting lack of flexibility in use, and some weres having a great deal of difficulty dealing with the implications of the rules.
Not all of our difficulty was due to the system - I am sure that we missed ways to solve problems that could have been used. I just wonder if this game may have been configured differently if it had come out after Fate Core, which I very much enjoy.
