This is a review of the POD-copy of this adventure.
I recently ordered a POD-copy of this book. While the Scan is generally really good, as is the adventure one decision (and misleading description of the product) damns this to a 2/5, instead of a 5/5. The fact, that, despite, as advertised in the description, which mentions 3 books, the print version is one book.
Yes, you heard that right. The short intro-booklet, Player's handbook, and Gm's copy of the adventure, is one book. The product, in the description, is advertised as :
"This latest in the Dark Sun series of adventures has be redesigned with standard-size booklets, one for the DM and one for the players. A third booklet provides a descriptive short story to set the tone of your adventure."
I find it really ridicoulous. I can't upload pictures directly of the book, so you have to take my word for it. Even the page numbers is inconsistent - it is individual to each book. So, i can't even tell you on what page which book starts. There isn't even a guide to tell you where which book starts! You just open it up, and boom, Claw of the blue Mekillot Starts! The book is reall not navigable in the slightest.
However, i can't give this a 1/5. The scans are great -really, really great. The pictures are all crisp, and easily recognisable. If the POD-version gets changed to 3 books instead, this review will be updated. In the mean time, i am sad to give this one a 2 out of 5!.
[2 of 5 Stars!]
