Mythic Paths of the Lost Spheres - Godhunter

Mythic Paths of the Lost Spheres - Godhunter An Endzeitgeist.com review This installment of the Mythic Paths of the Lost Spheres-series clocks in at 15, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page ToC, 3 pages of SRD, 1 page back cover, leaving us with 8 pages of content, so let’s take a look! Note: This is part of the Mythic Paths of the Lost Spheres-tome and represents a single stand-alone path from the book. The series was crafted with an eye towards providing options for some of the more popular 3pp-materials: Psionics, pact-magic-based spirit-binding, temporal shenanigans (Time Thief and Warden), as well as e.g. Rite Publishing’s take of shapeshifting via the taskshaper. The pdf thus provides a lot of synergy if you have these respective supplements. However, at the same time, the book does not lose its value for groups that do not employ there – the mythic paths that help for the respective subsystems are fully viable even without using e.g. pact magic, sporting plenty of options that do not require the use of...

TSAO: These Stars Are Ours!
by Dillard R.
Publisher: Stellagama Publishing
Date Added: 06/07/2018 23:23:38
TSAO: These Stars Are Ours! I want more. Not in a bad way. This product leaves me hungry for more of this setting. Don't worry this is a complete, albeit in broad strokes, setting. Plenty of room for adventures in a campaign setting set almost immediately following a war between humans and reticulans. The reticulan masters have been overthrown and other alien races have been liberated. Alien allies and villians populate the setting as well as humanity. Plenty of setting material screams to be used in adventures. There are the typical typos when you have a small publisher, but nothing egregious. Rules are well organized. Overall a solid buy. ...

Variant Psionics for the Cepheus Engine
by Dillard R.
Publisher: Stellagama Publishing

Variant Psionics for the Cepheus Engine This is an excellent product for those used to systems powered by a resource (mana points, magic points, etc). Pump in the PSI points and the effect happens. This book gives a lot of great ideas for any 2d6 game. However, it really shines when used with "These Stars Are Ours". This helps to make the Reticulans truly insidious.

Archaic Firearms
by Dillard R.
Publisher: Zozer Games

Archaic Firearms Bottom line up front: I wanted something to go along with blackpowder fantasy for Cepheus Engine. This is a perfect fit. Good history of the blackpowder firearm and how it informs the use of such weapons. The rules are light and easy to implement. Equipment includes arquebuses to percussion cap revolvers, petards, and cannons. Short, sweet, to the point. Can't beat the price or the product. Fully recommend.

SLIP • A World of Adventure for Fate Core

SLIP • A World of Adventure for Fate Core The Short Version: I really enjoyed this. Not only do I like the specific theme, but it also opened my eyes to some new ways of thinking about Fate in general, and how to think about scenarios, villains, and "The Bronze Rule." Grimoire • A World of Adventure for Fate Core

Grimoire • A World of Adventure for Fate Core I generally find that some FATE worlds do it for me, and some don't, but just about every FATE world has something that I can borrow (steal?) for my game. "Grimoire" was a pleasant surprise, all the way around. There isn't anything about this setting that I didn't like. Recognizing, though, that not everyone shares my exact tastes, here's a quick review. Yes, I'm a fan of this one, but I hope my review will suffice to let you know if "Grimoire" will do it for you-- or if it won't. The most interesting mechanical twist in "Grimoire" is that it provides an entirely new spin on magic for FATE Core! If you're of a certain age (read: 'old'), you might remember the Eternal Champions line of fantasy roleplaying games by Chaosium, "Stormbringer" and "Hawkmoon," both based upon the fiction of Michael Moorecock. What set these games apart (mumble mumble, handwave) years ago is that their magic system was entirely based upon summoning extraplanar entities, beings which were generally much ...

Omega 99 Fantastic ! I can just see the bell-bottoms and hear the funky basslines with this ! Space:1999 was my favourite sci-fi epic in the early 1970s, and I've always been wanting to play the setting in 2d6 Sci-Fi ! Thanks Michaell for another great setting resource for our favourite gaming framework !

Unmerciful Frontier: The CCA Sourcebook
by Shawn F.
Publisher: Gypsy Knights Games
Date Added: 06/07/2018 16:52:58
Unmerciful Frontier: The CCA Sourcebook Do you like scouts in your Traveller game? Because if you like scouts, this is a great resource for you. While it's intended for GKG's Clement setting and its Cascadia Colonization Authority, it's plenty generic enough to pull all kinds of inspiration for your own scouting and exploraiton games. It details various scout careers (not just explorers, but sapper and security troopers for early colonization efforts) with ranks, detailed life event charts, mustering out benefits, etc. There's plenty of details on equipment, uniforms, vehicles, and the CCA's exploraiton procedures, organization, chain of command, and so forth. Perhaps the most useful is a system generator for the Cepheus Engine with plenty of variety and details -- atmosphere, oceans, biosphere -- it's all here. It's packed full of formulas and all kinds of options for creating your own unique places for your scouts to die, err...visit. You could easily use the system generator for any sci-fi game. If you are running a socu...

The Ruined Tower of Drazhu

The Ruined Tower of Drazhu I love this adventure! First, it's fun to read and play. I am a fan of Drazhu since I play DW. I like the twists the author gives to moves by using "power" instead of "hold" makes a lot of sense to me. The magic items are also a great part of the adventure, and the monsters add to the story and make for a tense dungeon crawl. I know it is a short adventure but the opportunities of expansion that come with the adventure and the fronts it includes make enough starting point for a great gaming experience in the hands of enthusiastic players. The art is cool and scary, great to set the mood for a visit to the sinister realms of Drazhu! Buy it now! Oh wait, it's free! ...

The Things We Leave Behind
by Andrew G.

The Things We Leave Behind A brilliant colelction of unnerving CoC scenarios. I just ran Forget Me Not after being inspired by the How We Roll podcast. First time I've run anything other than D&D and it was an outstanding success. Everyone had a great time and it was probably my single most satisfying GM'ing experience. The coherence and impact of the story are admirable and the atmosphere created really inspires deep role playing. Brilliant stuff. Only improvement would be to structure the information a bit better inside the text so you dont have to scan through paragraphs to find the germane information inside the narrative. Maybe some kind of schematic way of showing the speciifc details on how to run each scene would be good, like a little flow chart or something. Otherwise impeccable....
